Hi Team,

I previously posted a question and received a helpful response (link below):

I have a follow-up question:

Is it possible to create a Fabric workspace in Power BI, publish reports there, and then use Power Automate’s Export to File for Power BI Reports action to generate a PDF?

Please advise.

There is no difference between Power BI Workspace and the workspace part of the fabric, only a difference in computer power.

Are you facing any specific issue accessing the workspace from Power Automate when it's in fabric capacity? if yes, let us know what the issue you are facing.

Yes, you can create a Fabric (Power BI) workspace, publish reports there, and use Power Automate’s “Export to File for Power BI Reports” action to generate PDFs.

This is fully supported, provided the workspace is not “My Workspace,” appropriate licensing is in place, and the user running the flow has the required permissions.

    Thanks 11manish.

I am having premium licence and can I create the workspace with Fabric trial for POC and then if its work I can get a Fabric license.

    Please advice.

Yes, you can enable the fabric trial and test.

sorry i could not able to test as my fabric trial has expired. I don't have a fabric capacity to test.  It should show the difference between Power BI Premium and Fabric Capacity, only compute power. Ensure you have access to the fabric capacity workspace
