Google Sheets Conector APIM Error

Hi everyone,

I’m facing an issue with the Google Sheets – Get Rows action in Power Automate.

Flow structure:

  • Manual trigger

  • Google Sheets – Get Rows

"host": {
  "apiId": "/providers/Microsoft.PowerApps/apis/shared_googlesheet",
  "connection": "shared_googlesheet-1",
  "operationId": "GetItems"
}

What happened:

  • First test returned 429 – Too many requests.

  • The action kept running indefinitely, so I cancelled it after ~2 minutes.

Current error:

InvokerConnectionOverrideFailed
Could not find any valid connection for connection reference name 'shared_googlesheet-1' in APIM header.

What I already tried:

  • Reconnecting the Google Sheets connector

  • Deleting and recreating the connection

  • Creating the connection again using an anonymous browser session

  • Removing Power Platform access from my Google account (connections/security), clearing the integration cache, and then creating the connection again

I can access Google Drive normally, and the Google Drive connector works fine.
Inside the Google Sheets action, I can browse my Drive, select the file, and choose the sheet — but the flow still fails at runtime.

Has anyone faced this issue or knows how to fix it?

    Normally a HTTP 429 is a throttling/too many requests error, which should be temporarily.

    Are you using the same connection in other flows as well?

    Btw, have you also tried it with a top count of 5. Does that setup make a difference?

    Yes, that’s right. I tried a different retry policy, for example:

    "retryPolicy": {
    "type": "exponential",
    "count": 8,
    "interval": "PT60S",
    "minimumInterval": "PT5S",
    "maximumInterval": "PT1M"
    }

    And it worked. Although it still times out occasionally, it works most of the time.
