Approval was sent multiple times to same user

Hi,

I'm facing the issue that one user gets an approval multiple times despite the approval action only runs once.

I've already checked that the flow only ran once and the user is only once in the recipient field.
The action itself shows no sign that it ran into a re-try.

 

Did anyone else experience such a behavior?

    It's a pretty standard approval connector

    I am currently facing the same issue. Did you manage to fix it somehow or is it a bug in Power Automate?

    I am also facing the same issue for all approvals

     

    approval request is sent atleast 5 times

    Same happening here - Germany.

     

    I also found out that the approval emails are coming now from two different senders - maccount@microsoft.com & flow-noreply@microsoft.com

    And to add some context:

    Approval in the flow timeouts and is trying to repeat the action, even if the approval is already sended out.

    We having the same issue in Finland, approvals are repeating the sending of an approval. We have also one error where the approval was not sent at all with error 504 Request to the backend service timed.

    This has started happening to us today, times out creating the approval and sometimes doesn't get to the Wait for Approval action.

    This approval action always seems to have issues.

    We are also having problems with approvals in Power Automate generating multiple approval requests.  These have been working fine for months.  I'm sort of relieved to find other people having the same issues but I really, really wish there was a way I could ensure that Microsoft were aware and investigating these.  I can't even log a ticket with them as the support form has a dodgy field in the form (Impact) that prevents me from completing the support request.  😞
