Anyone know if I can use the active directory action in power automate desktop to change users account options?
Specifically, the “User must change password at next logon” & “Password never expires”.
Looking to automate those flags in AD.
Thanks!
Okay....I've instead just created PowerShell scripts to flag those user account options. Now, do I simply just do a "Run PowerShell script" action and paste my code in? How do I run it as a different user? How do I add this desktop flow to my power automate flow?
Yes, you can paste the script to a Run PowerShell script action. Byt you cannot run a PowerShell script from PAD as a different user.
If you have a desktop flow and want to call it from the cloud, you need a Premium license, and you need to set up your Power Automate machine runtime app to register the machine to an environment. You can then create a cloud flow that runs a desktop flow via the Desktop Flows connector.
