When sending an email, change choice column to another choice in the body

Hi!

I was trying to make a mail almost like an approval but without being an approval, just with a mail, and when clicking over a "Yes" it changes the choice option to Approved in the SP column and if its clicked over the "No" it changes to "Refused".

Is it possible?

Try with Send email with options Options and check the logics accordingly.

User Options parameter you need to provide values by comma separated.

Use condition to check and based on the condition you can update the values accordingly.

This can be also done in some other way by using When an HTTP request is received as trigger this becomes Premium. So if the users access this they also need a premium license.  So i leave the choice to yours

    Perfect!
I receive the mail correctly with the options I asked but it appears twice and without spaces, like all together in one row. Look:
Now I would need, when one of the options is selected, modify the column choice with the option selected in the mail "Aprovat" or "Rebutjat". Right now it doesnt change anything I guess an action is missing.

And is it possible for the mail to be like:
    Nom usuari: ...
    Data Formació: ...
    Hores Formació: ...
    Unitat: ...

I wait for response! Thanks @MS.Ragavendar

Yes, this is possible. You can use the selected option response and map it to your SharePoint choice column using an expression like this..

Expression - Put this expression in your column.
    if(equals(outputs('Send_email_with_options')?['body/SelectedOption'],'Yes'),'Approved','Refused')

If you use the expression you don't need to add the condition you can handle it using Expression as best practice.

    Updated Email body with options:
You can pass your email body in body text section.

If Hide HTML message is set as Yes the second thing will be removed or else the screenshot which you showing is the expected behaviour.

I also shared the sample blog post which covers this scenario.

Thank you so much guys. @MS.Ragavendar @Kalathiya

Now I have another question, the way the items are created in the list is via a forms, so the user creates that item. Do they have to be a user in the power automate flow to be able run that automation?

Because it would be perfect that everytime a forms is filled by anyone who has access (which we maybe dont know), make the flow run.

    Thanks!

No — the person filling out the Form does not need to be a user/owner of the Power Automate flow for the flow to run.

If your flow starts with the trigger “When a new response is submitted” (Microsoft Forms), the flow runs based on the connection/credentials of the flow owner (or the connection used in the trigger/actions), not the respondent.

So you can design it so that whenever anyone who can access the Form submits a response, the flow runs.
