Flow Intervals

I see that the flow interval for FP2 is 1 min.

if i were to create a flow that polls my inbox for emails, does that mean that it will only do the flow once per minute? So if i had 15 emails come in at a time, it will take 15mins to process all of them?

or does it mean that i can only run 1 flow at a time. Ex. after the flow that polls my email is done, it has to wait 1 min before it does another flow that will check for changes in my sharepoint?

Appreciate the help! 🙂

    Hi Jim5975,

    I assume that you are using Flow Plan 2. The maximum flow frequency for flow plan 2 is 1 minute, it means that your flow will be triggered every per minute. When 15 emails come in at a time, your flow will be triggered 15 times, so it will take 15 minutes to process all the items.

    Besides, the maximum flow recurrence frequency is per flow, so if you have 10 flows, each of the 10 flows will perform their checks every 1 minutes, that would be 10 checks every 1 minutes (1 per flow).

    Best regards,

    Surely that cant be the case Mabel. If I am paying for the extra flow frequency, I expect everything to run completely, once per minute. Having to wait 15 minutes to process a single email at a time in 15 subsequent minutes is ridiculous. How do I get faster than tihs?

    @Anonymous:

    For increased limits, you might want to "upsize" from Flow to Logic Apps. Here is link to the Logic Apps limits documentation.

    Logic Apps have a minimum recurrence interval of 1 second.  Examples of other limits in Logic Apps include a maximum Run Duration of 90 days (VS 60 days fro Flow) and 500 action per workflow (vs 250 for Flow).

    This is certainly very useful Scott, thanks.  Though given the pricing one  for EVERY single action that takes place, one would have to be careful to ensure that the flow is designed efficiently.

    Best,
