Hello everyone,

Could you please tell me if it is possible to connect Oracle SQL developer and build report automation? I am setting up a Power Automate flow using the Oracle connector with the On-Premises Data Gateway but receiving an error that the connection cannot be created.

The connection error is most likely because the Oracle Client (ODAC) isn't installed on the gateway machine.

You need to install the 64-bit Oracle Data Provider for .NET on the same machine where your gateway is running. Make sure you grab the Windows installer version — the xcopy version won't work with the gateway.

To check if it's already installed,

If you see "OracleClient Data Provider" you're fine; if not, that's your issue.

I am curious what are you trying to accomplish in Oracle? I found using Oracle APIs in my flows to be the best for my automations. And for reports, use a SOAP call from OBTI custom reports.
