Power Platform Community Forum Thread Details

Hi all,

I’m building an automation process using Microsoft Forms and Power Automate for submitting project proposals. I’ve enabled “Allow respondents to edit their responses” because there’s usually some back‑and‑forth needed.

The issue I’m facing is:

The initial form submission successfully triggers my flow and sends an email.

However, when the respondent edits their submission and resubmits the form, the flow does not trigger again.

Ideally, I’d like:

A way for Power Automate to trigger when a form response is edited.

An option for the respondent to mark a submission as final, which would then trigger a “Start and Wait for Approval” action.

Has anyone implemented something similar, or found a workaround for detecting updated responses in MS Forms?

Any suggestions would be really appreciated.
