Getting a List of To Do Lists from Microsoft To Do App

This is specifically about using Power Automate Desktop with the Microsoft To Do app on Windows.

I'm trying to use the "Inspect UI elements (preview)" to see if I can get to each of the individual list items shown here, but I can't seem to get it to drill down to the correct elements. I'm just trying to iterate over the list items on this "List" but I can't seem to get it to work mainly because I can't get PAD to see the correct elements in the tree. Is there a way to fix this?

The inspector seems to list out the same elements in a looped/repeated nest of elements.

Quite possibly no. Some UIs are simply like that and PAD cannot really read the lower level elements.

To Do has an API that you can try using and it would be much more efficient and less error prone to connect to it this way. See here for reference: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/todo-concept-overview

That's what I was afraid of. It definitely defeats the intent. FYI, this was more of an exercise to work with desktop apps/UIs.

If it is an exercise, I suggest using a different app. Notepad or the Calculator app are frequently used for that. Also, you can try automating an Excel/Outlook UI (although not recommended in any actual business cases). To Do is simply not designed to be automation-friendly.
