Power Automate Desktop crashes when row deleted from DataTable while editing it. PAD doesn't allow the developer to edit further only option is to terminate the process.
I have the same question (0)

Can you elaborate what you mean by "when row deleted from DataTable while editing it"? Do you mean that when your flow performs "Delete row from data table" -action the designer doesn't respond anymore? Or do you mean that you open the Datatable and delete a row while the flow run is paused? I cannot seem to replicate that since for me the option is greyed out.

Also what version of PAD do you have? Have you tried to reinstalling PAD or tried with different machine if it would not crash then?

yes designer doesn't respond anymore when there only one row is present and that was deleted while editing the columns names. Here is the version: 2.62.161.25297. It is happening on version 2.65.145.26040 too.

I still am not sure what you mean. Could you share screenshots of what you are doing and when the designer is not responding anymore.

Here are the steps I tried.
Create a table with columns invoice, items, quantity and save it with no data in row index 0.
Reopen the action to modify the "quantity" column name to "Nos". (see the Screenshot_Before_Delete.png).
Press delete button while editing the "quantity" column name.
Row gets deleted and PAD does not allow either to save or cancel (see the Screenshot_After_Delete.png).

Ah okay now I understand and can reproduce the issue.

I think that you need to have one row when creating a data table in PAD for it to work. If I tried to delete the only row

then it forgets the whole schema so the columns too:
and if I tried as you instructed and pressed delete when modifying one columns name then PAD stopped responding.

So as a workaround I recommend leave one empty row and use "Delete empty rows from data table" -action to that input data table.

    So save it like this:
    *

Then in the flow use "Delete empty rows from data table" and then the datatable is empty but with the columns there

Thank you  for the workaround. Hoping Microsoft may fix this issue in upcoming releases.
