RSS to Yammer - fixing the style

Hi experts!

I'm using a Flow template to bring an RSS feed into Yammer.

One of the dynamic content items I've Included is the Feed Summary, but when it presents on Yammer the html coding also comes across, ruining the readability of the summary.

Is there a way to prevent the coding from displaying and leaving the summary itself?

I can't use this in its current state.

cheers

Evita

    Hi Evita,

I have some updates for you.

It seems that it is an issue related to Yammer, and Flow doesn’t have a way to fix the HTML code.

Please consider to create a request on Flow Ideas Forum so it might be taken into consideration in the future releases. I will collect and report this from my side.

    Best regards,
    Mabel Mao

    Thanks Mabel

It would be preferable if I can fix the display without having to make any changes to the RSS itself. We also use it for other purposes so I'd prefer not to change it.

I look forward to seeing if your team can resolve via Flow.

    thanks

    Hi Evita,

It seems that this issue related to the RSS feed you are using.

When using this feed in my flow, the message posted in yammer doesn't have HTML code.

While when suing the example feed, seems that I will get the same result with you.

I will be going to report this issue on my side and back to you once I got any response.

    Hi Mabel

In addition - here's a screenshot of the issue I'm experiencing with the display.

You can see that within the summary there are unwanted html characters appearing.

Suggestions to fix are very welcome as I can't share this feed with these display issues.

    Hi Mabel

No I don't have any other configurations included. I only have the below:

Re: RSS to Yammer - fixing the style

    Hi Evita,

To test this issue, I create a flow to post to yammer message when a RSS feed item is published. I configure the Message Text with the Dynamic content Feed Summary. While when a feed is posted to Yammer, seems that the message is not HTML coding.

Below is the flow run status:

Do you have any other special configuration in the flow?

    Best regards,
    Mabel Mao
