Extract Archive to Folder Steps Failing

I have multiple flows that use the OneDrive Extract Archive to Folder action that suddenly started failing on Saturday. They’ve run daily for nearly a year with no issues and now every flow is failing at this step.

The error is:

“Status 400: The attempted operation is prohibited because it exceeds the list view threshold.”

The zip file only contains one file, my OneDrive has <5,000 items and the destination folder is empty. I’ve tried testing with new folders and the action fails every time.

Is anyone else experiencing this?
Trying to determine whether this is a Microsoft-side issue.

Yes, based on the symptoms, this strongly looks like a Microsoft-side issue or regression rather than something wrong with your flows.

    I would:
    • Check Microsoft Service Health.
    • Test with a brand-new OneDrive folder and a tiny ZIP.
    • Inspect the raw action output for additional details.
    • Open a Microsoft Support ticket if the issue persists.
At the moment, this looks much more like a OneDrive connector issue or regression than an actual SharePoint list view threshold problem.

I'm having the same exact scenario.
Any new insights or workaround this issue?
    Thanks

@Omri No, not yet. I've tried everything the above user recommended with no luck, so I've reached out to our Microsoft admin to see if they can open a support ticket. I'll post an update once we get a response.
