Execute a query from Power Apps to an on-site SQL instance

Hey everyone,

I'm setting up a Flow process in which a user submits a form and in their form, they have a 'Name' field. From my 'Name' field, I would like to query my on-premise SQL (MariaDB) with "SELECT * FROM table where 'Name'=powerAutomate.'Name'". After my SQL instance returns a query, I would like to use the attributes from the results in my Power Automate flow. To make matters more complex, my database is stored on a server within our corporate network (and not accessible from elsewhere).

I realize to do this, I would have to create a connector and a gateway where my connector would run through my gateway. The thing is my database is located on a RHEL linux OS and I read that gateways require Windows. Would the alternative require me to set up a Windows VM on my server and then install the gateway and then setup a connector?
