Cannot see my flows from Excel, however I can see them in the browser. How to solve this issue?
I will appreciate your help
SOLVED by agent2332143! Thanks for the tip, !!!!!! The Add-in was not installed, and when I reinstalled it the Flow icon returned. I had completely given up on Flows because the add-in kept disappearing. So double-thanks and a bump, 5 stars!
If anyone else wants to know whether this is their problem, click the My Add-ins icon on the Insert tab in Excel. The Power Automate add-in should be listed. On my system, the Add-ins list was blank. When Power Automate is installed, you should see an icon here.
I ran into an additional problem while installing the add in, and received this error:
- The service required to use this feature is turned off
If anyone else ever has the same problem:
Installing the add-in failed because I had disabled the setting, "Enable optional connected experience". This is an Office-wide Privacy setting. Here is a page that explains where to find this 'connected experience' setting:
After enabling the feature and restarting Office, the Power Automate Flow icon returned to my Data tab. And Power Automate Flow was on my list of Add-ins. Success! And I think this setting explains why the Power Automate add-in was being removed over and over again.
I hope it lasts this time....
I was able to figure this out. I had to re-add the power automate add-in to Excel and was able to run my flow. For some reason the add-in was removed from Excel. Maybe an update removed it?
It must a user error, because Power Automate is a flawless product.
I think you need to take help from the Youtube
The solution i found was to create the Flow in the excel file, instead of doing it in power automate website. After that you can find it and edit it in the PA website.
Hope this helps .
I have the same problem if Excel flow is a part of a Power Automate Solution (i.e. parent flow).
Is there any solution for this yet? I have the same problem
I have the same issue, not sure how to go about fixing it. I double-checked that the flow points to the right excel file, but it still won't show up.
same problem as user cerrata.
I have the same problem. Did you solve it?
