Hi all

I have a ticketing board with 3 particular columns I want to select in my flow

Who will this impact (department)
Status (New, Duplicate, Inprogress and Completed)
Approval Status (Pending, Approved and Declined)
Scoped (yes or no choice)

When an item is created a response is sent to the creator

Currently status are
Status New
Approval Status Pending
Scoped no

Email is sent to Ticketing team

Change Scoped status to yes triggers this flow (attached0

How do I add condition to only look for Scoping column change?

Once Scoped to Yes - this will send email to Department lead for approval status to change to Approved or Decline

Once approved then more flow

Can someone assist make this work please?

    Hi!

click on the three dots of the trigger and after click an settings, you will have trigger conditions and you can apply your formula to validate.

@MichaelFP, the trigger you suggested reduces the number of flow runs (to only items which are modified), which is a good improvement for this setup 👍.

However, it doesn't check if the value in the Scope column has changed in the last update (changes between versions).

As far as I understand bB-27090143-0 wants to check this as well. If that is the case, you would also need the Get changes for an item or a file (properties only) action: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/sharepointonline/#get-changes-for-an-item-or-a-file-(properties-only)

@Expiscornovus, i just show that he can use trigger conditions to validate that. i don't said that he have to use the specific formular.

Thanks so much for your responses...

    I am so stuck

I have modified columns for approval status to have scoped included

Approval status now pending, Scoped, Approved, Declined

But still erroring "Action 'Get_changes_for_an_item_or_a_file_(properties_only)' failed: Invalid format for version input value clientRequestId: 7f8e233d-a6b2-415a-8450-b51a18625b5c serviceRequestId: 955864a1-30b8-4000-1fdc-cae32a8a68c6

The since field expects a version value. Normally you can use the Trigger Window Start Token for this. Can you try that one instead?

Until can use the Trigger Window End Token.

After that the action should return if the Scope field had changed (true value).
