Power Platform Community Forum Thread Details

I have a flow which queries Power BI datasets and creates files with the query results, overwriting the existing ones (this runs daily). I have 5 create file actions, all overwriting existing files. For some reason, one of them fails occasionally. I've done some reading and apparently the create file action isn't meant to be able to overwrite existing files, but I have lots of flows that do exactly that.

Any guidance?

The specific error is:
Action 'Create_file_-_xxxxxxxx' failed: A file with the name Shared Documents/xxxxxxxx/xxxxx/xxxxx.csv already exists. It was last modified by i:0#.f|membership|tobias.cherry@xxxx.com on 16 Mar 2026 04:34:53 -0700. clientRequestId:xxxx serviceRequestId: xxxx
