Get sharepoint item ID with parameters

Hello,

I try to get some sharepoint items depending on search parameters and could not find out how to do this.

This is my list (big data) with tracking data of trucks

I filter my list based on type eq '167' (ID= 3857534) and I need the previous item for the same source (in this example 8401, with the ID 3857469).

Thanks for your help !

Polo

@polo1604 Is your type column storing text or a number?

If your type column is a number column your Filter Query should be:

    type eq 167

By using single quotes you are indicating that 167 is a string of text.

    Hi @polo1604,
Do you want to get the item based on the same source but a different ID?

Actually, Get items action returns a maximum of 5000 items by default, if you want to get more, you could enable the pagination feature.

In the Filter query, if you want to filter specific items, I think you need to specify the ID one by one, you could configure it as below:

ID eq '3857534' or ID eq '3857469'

    Hi,

thanks @v-qiaqi-msft and @creativeopinion for your replies, but this was not the issue. Maybe I didn't explain enough what are my needs.

The tracking list contains all data from different trucks, not sorted, with different information. In this case, I extract the items with type eq '167' (all columns are text), which is the type for fueling which shows how many liters of diesel the truck has in its tank. Then I want to get out of the stored data the previous item from the same truck, showing the fuel level, to see how much diesel the fueling was.

The only parameter I have is the truck number ('8401') and I need to find the ID of this previous item to get the fuel level before fueling.

I hope you could under stand a little bit more, as there are thousands of items, I don't know the ID number and therefore cannot filter to it. I need to do a kind of lookup to find the right item. This is my issue.

Thanks again for your ideas 🙂

    best regards

    Polo
