Similar to a Quick Step setup, I want to take this one step further. Currently, after creating a Quick Step, I still need to manually select each item to run the rule, which then opens an email draft that I have to send myself.
What I want instead is to fully automate this process ['Send an email' to 'Assign to'] (see screenshot attached). Once an item is submitted or saved—whether newly created or edited—the system should automatically trigger an email notification sent either from SharePoint or from the item’s creator directly to the person specified in the “Assign to” field, i.e. the assignee’s mailbox.
