Hey everyone! I am running into an issue that I really feel should be trivial. What I want to do is send an email back to the user that submitted the Survey notifying that submission had succeeded. This should be possible because in order to use Survey123 the person as to be logged in. Under the Survery123 Webhook settings I enabled the event data > user information which says it passes the User Name and email as part of the payload. However, I don't have a clue how to access it in power automate. Does anyone know how I can access it? (note it doesn't show up in the dynamic fields.)
Thanks for your help!
Thanks for the reply, I guess all I had to do was post to get it to cooperate. I couldn't get it to pass the "userInfo" for the life of me. About 2 minutes after I posted, it finally started working the way it should.
Thanks again
Did you find a solution to this problem, I am looking for the same info
Sorry about that. Not sure how that happened. Also, I'm accessing survery123 through my company portal. Thanks again!Flow
Survey123 Settings
Sure it can really be illustrated with the basic model I was working on so we will start there. The first screenshot shows a simple workflow that sends an email notification when the survey has been taken or edited. I had the modify the webhook in the Survey123 settings in order to get edits to trigger it. The second screenshot shows where I set it to send user information to the payload. I'd like access to that information so we can send them notifications and updates based on some feature conditionals such as approving or rejecting a task. I simply don't see it in the dynamic text section despite being able to pass the information from Survey123. Thanks so much for your help! I hope you have some good news for me. Cheers 😃
