The cause of this problem is apparently the new versions of Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. This solution worked for me. In Microsoft Edge, go to the following URL: edge://flags/ and disable the following option:
In Chome, the URL is: chrome://flags/#third-party-storage-partitioning
