Onboarding reminder email - Sharepoint list

Hello,

I am trying to set up a power automate reminder that has been stumping me. I have a Sharepoint list with new hires on it. When 5 days are remaining until their start date, I want an email to go out to a select group of people (the group of people is always the same, regardless of the new hires). In that 1 email, I want there to be a table with the new hires' first name(text field), last name (text field), position (multiple choice field), and start date (date field).

I tried a few different things but had problems with either multiple emails going out, or having a bunch of extra stuff in the email...I think it's looking a bit messy now with little remnants of things that I have attempted to fix it.

Here's the flow that I have;

The expressions are as follows

formatDateTime(addDays(utcNow(),5),'yyyy-MM-dd')

- body('Newhires')['Firstname'], body('Newhires')['Lastname'],body('Newhires')['Position']

The emails that I get have a bunch of extra info in it - it looks like it's just spitting out all info in regards to this list. Piece of the email below

    @eevvee You might find these two tutorials helpful. I'd recommend creating a new flow and running a test at each step. It's a lot easier to troubleshoot a flow as you are building it instead of trying to troubleshoot when it's "complete". As you run tests you can verify the logic of your flow.

    Send Emails Based on a 📆 Date Column in SharePoint with Microsoft Power Automate

    In this Microsoft Power Automate tutorial, I’ll show you how to build a flow that will send a Happy Birthday email to a user based on a date column in a SharePoint list. The SharePoint list also contains a column with a Manager’s name which we’ll use to send a three-day and day of reminder to the user’s manager.

    This automation will use the Filter Array action to filter out all SharePoint list items where the user’s birthday is today or in three days. This flow can apply to a variety of scenarios such as:

    📅 Student Birthdays

    📅 Project Due Dates

    📅 Contract/Membership Renewals

    📅 License Expirations

    📅 Client Anniversaries
