Hello experts,

I want to refresh a dataset in power bi with a button. I know i can do this in power bi, with the power automate visual. But i want to give a template app to my customers. Then the button doesnt work because the button is connected to my dataset.
I want to have a button with the action Web URL, so when I made my power automate flow with the trigger 'When a HTTP request is received' and i paste the POST URL in the button with WEB URL. I get this error:

{"error":{"code":"DirectApiAuthorizationRequired","message":"The OAuth authorization scheme is required. Please add authentication scheme and try again."}}

Can someone help me out with this?

thank you

    I think you may be looking for information referenced here Deeper control over HTTP invocation of flows - Microsoft Power Platform Blog and here P1 - Securing "When an HTTP Request is Received" trigger in Power Automate. Both should provide you with some guidance.

    Hi   ,

    Consider using the Power BI REST API for dataset refresh: - Create a Power Automate flow triggered by a button in Power BI. Use the Power BI connector in Power Automate to refresh the dataset. Embed the Power BI button in the report.
    Instead of using a "Web URL" action, create a Power BI visual or button that interacts with Power Automate directly via the Power Automate visual

    let me know if you need more details. thanks
