Agent Not Publishing and Available in Teams

Hi everyone,

I've been trying to publish a Copilot Studio agent ("Reimbursement Wizard") to Microsoft Teams, but I'm running into an issue. The agent publishes successfully in Copilot Studio — it shows as published and the Teams URL copies to clipboard without any problems. However, when I open the agent link in Teams and click "Open," I get the error:

"There was a problem reaching this app"

Clicking "Retry" doesn't resolve it either.

Has anyone else encountered this issue recently? Is this a known bug on Microsoft's side, or am I missing a configuration step? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hello,i will try to help by sharing my experience on the same problem :

This particular message was only happening when
-- on personal testing
- I use the link on a previsouly deleted agent

- I use the link with an account without permission (but it's not supposed to be this error in this case, but sometime i got it)

- i made a mistake in the copy and past link (some time fast click on button and i used the link of another deleted agent)

-- on production tenant

- Administrator of teams block the self deploy to teams : need to ask an admin to deploy it from teams as an app from the zip package or from Agent 365 admin screen.

Hi there,

these are my suggestions:

Check with your IT admin that Power Platform apps are not blocked in the Teams Admin Center — this is the most common cause in enterprise environments

Redo the Teams channel setup from Copilot Studio (Channels → Add channel → Publish) instead of using the copied link

Install the agent on your own account first via "See agent in Teams" and verify it works for the maker before sharing it with others

Check the authentication settings and make sure "Authenticate with Microsoft" is selected

Wait a few hours if all configurations appear to be correct
