We created a lab to give you a hands-on understanding of MCP and how it works with Microsoft Copilot Studio.

This lab walks you through: Deploying an MCP Server:

Learn how to set up a server that can handle your data, models, and interactions.
Creating a Custom Connector: Use the connector infrastructure to link your MCP server with Copilot Studio.
Integrating with Copilot Studio: Add your MCP server as an action within Copilot Studio, enabling your agents to access the tools and data provided by the server.

By the end of the lab, you’ll have a Copilot Studio agent that tells jokes by fetching them from your MCP server—a fun and practical way to understand the integration process.

Hi Daniel @laskewitz,

Would you spend please 5 more minutes to demonstrate how to integrate https://remote.mcpservers.org/fetch/mcp ?
I created a custom MCP server with various SDKs but its tools were not listed then I switched to the above simple MCP server which has a fetch tool to get content of a web page but its fetch tool was not listed either.

Thanks for sharing the lab and video, these are great to get started.
