I've updared my Power Automate Desktop today from a very old version

and now I cannot retrieve items from list variables

I have a step to set a variable like %VARIABLE[0]% but the result is now a text literally. The learn website still have the same sintax so I don't know what's going on

Here you can see how now it sets as text intead of having the first item

Any idea?

    Hi @JOSELUISMR !

Would you mind showing your flow? I would love to get more context. I need to see your list, retrieve items action, etc. because of what variables you used. Please hide any sensitive data before sending it here.

Sorry I didn't know what's wrong. I created a new one and generated the 3 steps then I copied and pasted them on my real flow and it works , it was really weird the third one step was given a text insted of the item 0 information.

As I said, this flow was created with a previous version, so maybe something internal was wrong since I created them from blank flow with the new version then pasting them make it backs to work

There might be a chance that you enabled the Power Fx feature by mistake during your first flow creation, which could have caused the reported issue. In the second flow, creating the workflow without Power Fx may have resolved your syntax issue by default.

Oh ! You are right @Deenuji

The flow with the issue has activated FX 😲

Could you share why FX activated would cause this "sintax problem"?

To iterate through a list in a Power Fx-enabled flow, you can use the following syntax:
