Hi,
I have created a Power Automate Flow with the Trigger "on new email with attachment", which safes email attachments in a Sharepoint folder. The problem is i like to trigger this flow for a different user mailbox and not my own. I put in the new email in the advanced options field "to". Is this going to work, if i get the "read and manage (full access)" mailbox permission from this new account? Or do i then need to change the trigger to "when an email arrives in a shared mailbox", because the mailbox from the different account is now a "shared mailbox"? I also have other Flows where i write mails with the "Send as" Mail permission from this different email. Will these be affected from the added Mail permission "read and manage"?
Thank you for your help in advance
Kind regards
Hi @or1 ,
So if this is a shared inbox, you want to use that trigger because it will run in that mailbox and is most likely what you want and described. If you don't have a shared mailbox, you need access to the mailbox, as in, userID and pw because you need to create a connection between the power automate flow and the mailbox.
Again, best practice here is to go with the shared mailbox route.
Your other flows will not be affected by this flow's connection to a shared mailbox.
