Outlook Does Not Throw Error

Hey There,

I've built a flow to send out dynamic emails and attachments to customers. All of the customer's information is stored in an Excel spreadsheet.

Everything is working great, except I cannot get Outlook to throw an error if there is something wrong with the email address. In my tests, if the email field in the spreadsheet is blank, or the email is spelled incorrectly, there is no notice from Outlook or PAD that the email could not be sent.

How can I get Outlook or PAD to notify me if something is wrong?

For blanks, you could do something like IF %CurrentItem[3]% = %''%, then ThrowError or simply "Next Loop". [3] would mean the email was in the 4th column.

Other email errors might be harder and need regex such as if it is not something@something.something, throw error.

Before sending the email, validate that it is not blank and in a valid email address format.

Below thread has two solutions. One using readymade action in PAD called "Recognise entities" and other is a Regex.

But if the email address is already in a proper format and still you want to validate it then you can do that only after you get the delivery failure message.
