Have a look at the MVP program site, that shares a bit more details. Specifically also have a look at the FAQ, that might answer some questions you have
    https://mvp.microsoft.com/en-US/mvp/overview

To better understand how the program defines product and business areas—and to see which professionals in your country are already recognized for specific products—you can explore the MVP directory here - https://mvp.microsoft.com/en-US/search?target=Profile&program=MVP

First, the product team must recognize that you deliver meaningful impact and that you can operate as a credible peer in regular interactions. This goes beyond simply using the product. It requires the ability to engage in thoughtful conversations about real‑life scenarios, design decisions, constraints, compromises, and future direction in a way that adds value.

Second, the quality and focus of your contributions carry significant weight. Reviewers look at the work completed during the twelve months leading up to the submission, and those efforts must be tightly centered on one product within a single technology domain.

All the best for the journey!
