    This usually happens when the installer can’t start the Power Automate crash monitor service, and it’s almost always a permissions issue, not a broken install.

    Quick things to check:

    • Make sure you run the installer as Administrator
    • Check in services.msc if PADCrashMonitor exists and try starting it manually
    • Fully uninstall Power Automate Desktop, then reinstall clean
    • Temporarily disable antivirus or endpoint protection if your company allows it
    • If it’s a work machine, your account may be missing “Log on as a service” permission, so IT may need to help

    Bottom line: the install is failing because Windows won’t allow the service to start. Fix the permissions or security restriction, and the install should complete normally.

    I have this same issue.  With the latest version 2.67.143.26090. 
     
    The last version that worked was 2.66.154.226079.
     
    This is annoying and has affected several of my machines in my business.

    It will fail and then ask to reinstall dependencies even after they are already installed.
