I cannot figure out where this GUID is coming from I know I have the tight table but for some reason it is not working.

If I add a lookup

I also can't get it to work the other way

In Microsoft Dataverse Virtual Tables, incorrect GUIDs in Power Automate occur because data is not stored in Dataverse and IDs are often mapped or generated dynamically.

    Solution
    • Ensure a consistent unique identifier from the source system
    • Map it correctly as the primary key
    • Use external ID instead of Dataverse GUID in flows

Don’t rely on Dataverse-generated GUIDs for virtual tables
Use stable external keys to avoid inconsistencies

Hi, hope you are doing well.

This is really strange; unlike anything I have seen before. However, there is something I would like to point out.

In the screenshot of the table that you shared, the 'vw_APVendors' GUID does not line up with the GUID returned by the 'List rows 3' action.

Did you try passing the GUID returned by 'List rows 3' action in the 'Get a row by ID' action?

Either way, this seems rather strange, and if the above suggestion doesn't work out, I'd recommend raising a Microsoft support ticket.

    I got it

NEWID() is being used to generate the GUID in the source view and that changes every time its run so there is never a match....

mystery solved.  It was driving me nuts.
