Get Table - File Input

I am building a flow to copy data from a table in Excel to a sharepoint list. I can't get any of the connectors to work with the selected file. I understand that dynamic content dosent work with the excel connector but is it possible to accomplish this through a variable made up of the file path and name?

Could you elaborate on how you aren't able to get teh connectors to work with the file? Can you provide a detailed screenshot of your Flow, and/or any error messages you receive when trying to run the Flow so that we may better support you? I use an Excel table to SharePoint list Flows frequently without issue.

Also, what do you mean in regards to dynamic content not working with th excel connector? Creating variables within Flow is possible, and a key compenent of the service. See the Build more advanced flows than ever blog post, and the follow documentation for details:

You may also want to take the time to work through the free Microsoft Flow training provided by Microsoft to get a better understanding of it's capabilities:

The File input is expecting a formatted file name and extension as the input, such as YourFileName.xlsx. None of the parameters you've tried provide that, you'd want the Filename with extension parameter (string). Before that you could also parse in the Folder path parameter (string) if needed as well.

I tried that and it did not work. the attampts that I have made are listed below:

    1. 'File Name with Extension' - returns a 400 error with the message "The parameter 'file' has an invalid value 'CT & Cap Analysis [eqip] (x.x.xx) - WIP.xlsm'.". This is the correct file name.
    2. 'Folder Parth''File Name with Extension' - returns a 400 error with the message "The parameter 'file' has an invalid value 'Shared Documents/Customer Quotes/2019/XTest_298 - Room101/CT & Cap Analysis [eqip] (x.x.xx) - WIP.xlsm'.". THis is the correct folder and file name.

The issue is that Microsoft Flow Excel Connectors don't currently support macro-enabled Excel files because of it's strict limitations, there are no macro related definitions

If this is functionality you would like to see added to Flow or a Flow Template, please consider submitting it to the Flow Ideas page, where it can be voted on by other users, and tracked and commented on by the Flow team.

There are currently a few related ideas:
