Reading other users' emails

I am working on a task to build a flow to read emails and save them as .eml files to SharePoint, and now I want to use an admin account to build the flow and access users' emails to read and save them. Is there any other way without using App Registration, because the CLIENT_SECRET will expire after 24 months and I will have to ask the IT Admin to provide it again, which is a bit inconvenient.

    Use:

App Registration + Certificate Authentication + Microsoft Graph API

    instead of client secrets.

This is more secure, scalable, and avoids frequent secret renewal issues.

For most Power Automate email archival scenarios, the shared mailbox approach is usually the easiest and most maintainable solution.

There is no supported way to access all user mailboxes using only an admin account in Power Automate.

    To avoid client‑secret renewals:
    • Use Shared Mailboxes (recommended)
    • Or use Certificate‑based App Registration instead of secrets

I sincerely hope that this is not possible 🥶

A point to remember for .eml stuff:
    • Power Automate does not natively export emails as .eml files.
    • We can save email content and attachments separately, or use third-party connectors or Azure Logic Apps with Graph API calls to export .eml files.

    Hi trannguyen0410,

I wonder about the business scenario which you are trying to solve here. What is the purpose of having access to someone else's mailbox and store the emails on SharePoint? Why would you use SharePoint as a storage for emails?
