We struggle with keeping contact lists in Outlook up to date. We were thinking of using an MS form to gather contact information from our citizen groups. The form would ask for name, email and a multi-select of contact group type. When the form is submitted we would write the details to a SharePoint list. We were thinking about using a flow to add/update Outlook Groups based on the new SharePoint list contact.
We send so many emails to citizen contact groups like fire, ems, schools, etc., and we are finding it difficult to have one data source that we can all use to send the emails from outlook. The emails are very specific in nature so we don't want the content to be created in a flow, but we want to have an accurate Outlook contact group in which to use as a data source. We use M365 in modern SharePoint so connecting to Outlook from the classic SharePoint is not anything we are interested in doing.
Does anyone have suggestions on how to get the email from the SharePoint list to Outlook Contacts?
