PowerAutomate & Sharepoint - Connect a PowerAutomate flow to SharePoint Site using an AzureAD Application is it possible ?

Hello everyone,

I am currently exploring the integration possibilities between Power Automate and SharePoint. Specifically, I am interested in connecting a Power Automate flow to a SharePoint site using an Azure AD Application instead of relying on a user account, similar to what can be achieved with the Dataverse connector.

I am wondering if anyone has experience or insights into whether it's feasible to establish this connection and, if so, the steps or considerations involved in setting it up.

Any guidance or resources on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

    Hi @CFernandes

    Thanks for your answer. I've voted in favour.

    So do you thing to achieve that it would necessary to create a custom connector ?

    Thanks,

    @emiletwm - I think creating a Custom Connector Trigger is going to be bit complicated. Rather I would suggest reviewing SharePoint webhooks - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/dev/apis/webhooks/overview-sharepoint-webhooks if your have development experience...

    @CFernandes,

    My needs are not to trigger any actions on SharePoint but more to make actions like upload or edit files on different SharePoint Sites using AzureAD apps to authenticate my flow. That's why I'm thinking about custom connector. Do you see any inconveniences working with custom connector in my case ?

    thanks,
