I have a cloud flow that relies on the “When a new issue is created (V2)” trigger for JIRA.
This cloud flow has recently been falling since Jira deprecated the API it uses.
In fact, the API the trigger relies on has been listed as being deprecated since November 2024 and has been replaced with a different API.
I’ve done some research and found that Jira has responded, stating that they do not maintain the integration and it is a Microsoft connector, therefore being Microsoft’s responsibility.
On the official Microsoft learn page regarding the Jira connector, It lists Microsoft as the contact and publisher of the integration.
I’d like to know if this is being worked on and if so the likely completion date of this update since otherwise the amount of downtime this has caused could warrant just rebuilding the flow with a http web-hook instead.
Looking at the thread it was a community member who suggested this, not an Microsoft employee/representative. These forums are managed by people like you and me, the replies are generally speaking not from official Microsoft support employees. As a community we are just trying to help out.
In this case, based on the documentation, I would say the connector is managed and supported by Microsoft, though.
It is also listed on this page which shows all connectors published by Microsoft:
So, my suggestion would be to raise a Microsoft support request in the M365 admin center of your tenant or use the e-mail address from the documentation. This way somebody from Microsoft can help you out with this.
