Power Automate Desktop - Problem with button in website

I created a desktop flow in order to automate a website, this site has a form with a a button and no matter what kind of action I use (Press button on Web Page, Press button on Window or Send "Enter" keys), I always get this javascript error:  Uncaught TypeError: Can't call method on undefined

I tried to automate it using "WinAutomation" and I had to use the action "Press button on Window" instead of "Press button in Web Page" to make it works but unfortunately in power automate desktop I always get that error.

Could someone help me ?

Thanks in advance !!!

    Hello,

Have you tried using the recorder to see what the output renders in terms of actions?  Also, if you have captured the selector multiple times, when you open the selector builder do you notice any difference between the captured selectors?  At times there may be a dynamic property that is interfering with the playback - Build a custom selector - Power Automate | Microsoft Docs

Might also be worth comparing to the selector captured in WA to see what the difference is.

Let me know what you find.

    Thank you.

Hello... Thank you for your quick response !!

I had tried with recorder as well and got the same error.

The selectors in each case are different. I replaced the Power Automate Desktop selector with the selector generated by WinAutomation and got the same error.
I even tried to use the send key actions to send a "return" key instead of click button action and that did not work either.

Could you please share the website url?

If possible, can you post a screen shot of the differences in the selector?  If there is an attribute with a dynamically changing value if you can find a patter.  The example below shows changing the operator for an attribute to 'starts with' and leaves the word 'Organization' where it could be followed by some dynamically changing value.

are you getting same error when you try to click the button manually ?

No, manually the web page has no error, but after getting the error from the desktop flow I can't do anything else on the page.

I checked all the selectors and discarded everything that could be dynamic and even tried sending the tab and enter keys to avoid having to use the button.

It seems that the actions from the power automate desktop discards or does not recognise certain elements or code on the web page.

The problem was solved by capturing all the controls I use on the web page as UI Window controls instead of UI Web controls, not just the button.

Thank you very much for your help.
