Problem with adding values to a Lookup column

Hi,

I have problem with the following situations.

Source List: Contains only a "Equipment" column.
Target List: Contains the "Equipment" column as a lookup field, referencing the "Equipment" column to the Source List.

Objective: In the Target List, the equipment from the Source List should be automatically added to the lookup field when new equipment is created in the Source List. If equipment with the same name already exists, no new entry should be created.

I have tested it several times, but when I create a value in the source list that already exists in the target list, it creates the item again, resulting in duplicate values ("187")

Problem with adding values to a Lookup column

While writing OData filter query for LookUp columns in SharePoint we need to define as follows.

LookUpFieldName/Id

In your case I suggest to re-write the OData filter query as Equipment/Id
