Hi

So a complete novice here but trying to learn, Im trying to create flow on power automate, where I would post a message into teams and it would reply with a location to place on the shelf and show stock levels etc

Im having massive trouble actually getting it to post a message. Is there an issue posting into teams? or being a complete novice am I doing something wrong?  so far ......

- When a message is added to Teams ( i have linked the correct info )

- Get a row
Location, document, file, table, key column are all working ok, key value is where I might be struggling as this is where it fails.

- Reply with a message in a channel
flow bot, channel, message id, team and channel are added and then under message have added material, putaway location, station build and description

I have messed about adding HTML to text and Compose before * Get a row * but so far am having no luck. Under Compose, the code Co pilot was asking me to add was constantly wrong.

Any ideas?

Have you tried following these instructions: Create flows that post adaptive cards to Microsoft Teams - Power Automate | Microsoft Learn? If not, give this a try. Then if you have an issue, post the problem you are having along with the screen shot of the configuration of your flow and any error messages you get.

This assumes that when you said this, "post a message into teams and it would reply" that you meant a person would reply and the message would not somehow respond automatically with the shelf location. If so, I do not believe that is possible.
