get item filter

Hi,

I need to check if records meeting a criteria exist before I add a new item (if they do I'll delete).  My source is a sharepoint list and the fields I'm wanting to check are "Sprint Number", "Approval State" which is a Choices field and "Requested Approver" which is a Person field.

All records will have a Pending state and both Sprint Number and Requested Approver have been stored in a compose variable "Sprint Num" and "Sprint Approvers".

I've used CoPilot having exhausted my knowledge and still get various errors (if it even lets me save the flow).

Any help on my Filter Query?

Cheers,
Neil

Use SharePoint internal column names and correct field formats in your Filter Query.

    Eg:
    • Choice field → Approval_x0020_State eq 'Pending'
    • Person field → use Email
      • Requested_x0020_Approver/Email eq 'user@domain.com'
    • Sprint Number → Sprint_x0020_Number eq 'value'

As @Vish WR has mentioned, use the internal name of the SharePoint column.

For filtering on the email address, email must be upper case E and M:

Both very helpful. I found that prior to me getting the SP List the columns must have been renamed, so the reference name was different to the display name. Rather that trying to remember that for future me and others, I recreated the columns.

Now working on using a variable in the get items rather than hardcoded.
