Hi community,

I try finding a way to set "Run delay" time interval from inside a flow, do you know if and how this can be done?

Long story: the "Run delay" can be set for the whole flow and is applied between each step of a flow.
I need to reduce this "Run delay" time interval between some steps of the flow, how the "Run delay" can be set?

I have the same question (0)

There is an Action called "Delay" that can be by X seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks or months and you can put one of those actions after every step.

    Hello,

You can find below the options in your flow to reduce the run delay in your desktop flow.

Run delay is only meant for debugging purposes. When you open the flow in Edit mode there is "Run delay" at the bottom of the screen. Its set to 100ms by default. If you want the flow to run as fast as possible set it to 1 and if as slow as possible set it to 10000 which would mean 10 seconds per action.

But if you want the flow to slow down in attended/unattended then you need to add "Wait" actions between the actions you want the flow to slow down. Unfortunately if you want to have a delay between each action you will need to add "Wait" -action between each step. Also its recommended to use "Wait for window content" or "Wait for web page content" if you can rather than hard coded waits so RPA will continue when ever certain element is loaded.

If you mean Cloud flow then as @bscarlavai33 mentioned there is action called "Delay" that you can add between the steps you want to slow the automation down.

    Hello,
To clarify, each flow have a global setting called "Run delay" which applies between each steps of a flow and is a time interval specified in milliseconds.
I need a way to reduce this "Run delay" time interval between specific flow steps. I attach a screenshot with the flow level "Run delay" time interval setting which applies to all steps of a flow:

For example I need the "Run delay" to be set to 2000 milliseconds for a flow, but between specific flow steps I need to set it to a minimum like 1ms. To go further with the example the "Run delay" flow setting is used for graphic actions which take longer to run while for specific flow script steps like a sequence of setting flow variable values I need to set this time delay to a minimum as it increases the total execution time.

Do you know how can this be done into the flow script?

This is the version of Power Script used:
