Cloak and Dagger Pricing

Hello All,

Not going to single out Microsoft for the most confusing pricing of a product as UiPath is equally at best, vague.

Its access to the Ai Builder. Am I right in saying its available in the $40 p/m ( 5,000 credits ) and not the $15 p/m ( 0 credits ) .

Secondly, do I also need a dataverse licence at $???? p/m ?

Lastly, are there any more hidden costs ? as I genuinely feel there is a lot of cloak and dagger attitude to these RPA products.

Like when I buy a loaf of bread that costs a £1 then to be informed at the checkout, yeah thats not the "REAL" cost...

Looking over the forums I can see im not the only who feels this way.

Im trying to automate pdf invoices, circa 5,000 per month / 50 different suppliers, what do I need and how much does it cost ?

Many thanks

    Hi,

    Your first statement is correct.

You have Dataverse inclusion with your RPA license 250MB database storage and 2GB file storage.

    See https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2085130

For the second part, if you want to automate 5,000 documents per month, you will need near 2.5 million credits.

Then it depends on how many RPA license you get (E. g with 20 license you get 100K credits).

So you will have to fill what is missing with AI Builder standard add-ons which cost each $500 and provides 1 million credits.

    Hey buddy, thanks for that.

Yeah I seen the calculator, any idea what 1 credit is able to do ? is it 1 pdf ? 1 entry in a pdf ?

Is it a case of " If you have to ask you cant afford it ".

The pdfs we have to input to spreadsheets have circa 5/6 values per pdf, Really cant see how this is value for money as a half decent data entry clerk can input circa 100 pdf's per hour at £10 p/h using a form.

Power Automate would double the costs...

I believe PA is for large organisations circa 50,000 employees rather than small businesses, just my 2 cents.

Please dont think im having a go at your reply as I do appreciate it, Thanks again.

    Hi Mike,

As stated in the calculator https://powerapps.microsoft.com/ai-builder-calculator/, what matters is the number of pages not the number of fields extracted.

So whatever, you have 1 or 100 fields in one page, it only counts as 1 page.

We provide an example "the company needs to purchase 2 million service credits (2 units of AI Builder) for 4,000 pages of delivery orders per month", I let you do the maths for the number of credits per page.

The calculator provides the public price for low volume.

Please contact a sales account who can propose a customized pricing for large volume.

    Hi Ced,

So 500 credits per page ? Dont suppose you have a link to contact as im on the free version at the moment so no assisted support, cheers Ced.

If you go to this page https://powerautomate.microsoft.com/pricing/ you have a "contact us" form.

    Hi,

Which kind of support do you need?

    Do you have implementation questions?
