Start and wait for an approval" flow fail after running for a while, even though no one responded?

I have a Power Automate flow that sends an approval request and waits for a response. It worked fine in testing, but in production, if the approver doesn't respond for several weeks, the flow run shows as "Failed" with a timeout  even though the approval request still shows as pending in the Approvals app.

    Nothing appears to be wrong with your flow. The "Start and wait for an approval" action has a hard limit of 28 days. If no response is received within that period, the flow will fail, although the approval request itself remains in the Approvals center until it's manually cleaned up.
