File System - Data Gateway access

Hi All,

I have a flow which creates an excel file and save that to user's OneDrive.

I'd like to create this file on a local folder using File System connector in Power Automate

I have created a data gateway in my machine (laptop) and signed in using my credentials.

Then shared this gateway with some users.

Using this data gateway I have created a flow to create file on local folder and shared this flow with some other user who has access to this gateway.

I am able to create file in my local folder as expected but when it is used by other users, the flow fails.

Can any one help to advice how a file system connector can be used along with data gateway.

I am searching for some content which explains how the data gateway can be utilized by multiple users ( who doesn't have a premium license )

Whether this process has anything to do with licensing ?

does the gateway is installed in their machines where other users are trying to run the flow ?

Yes. Gateway is installed and made them to sign in using their login
Here I have the doubt.
I am utilizing the gateway which I created in my laptop (say named as ABC_Automation) and when the other user installs the gateway, they may be using some other name. Does this will work ?

I haven't used this file system actions before so not having experience with gateway, but when i read through some documentation , i got some info, see below:

In this they are saying about 2 types of Gateway

1. On-premise gateway and on premise gateway (Personal mode), may be you are using on premise on personal mode ?
