Tracking emails based on conversation ID

I have created a flow where it locates the conversation ID in excel and update the row, however when the conversation id is not found in the list, the flow will add a row in the excel sheet. when i am testing its working fine. however, if someone sends an email to the shared mailbox it does not update the row for the same conversation ID, but it logs new row in the spreadsheet. please advise.

    Hi @Deepak7050

In condition action, you just need one condition that compares variable with the conversation id of the received email. So after making the required changes, pls test the flow.

If this helps & solves your problem, please remember to give a 👍 and accept my solution as it will help others in the future.

    Thanks

i have tried these options with just one condition. however, when i am testing manually it works fine, but for other emails it does not identify and adds ups new row. is that something issues with the email subject line change ?? though when testing i have changed the subject line and tried it works fine. for few emails it does not!

attached flow with one condition. kinldy provide me any examples or print screen of the flow which will work fine, identifying the conversation ID and updating the same row if found and if not found add a new row in the table

    Hi @Deepak7050

Pls check the conversation Id coming from the received email. I think the conversation Id changes every time other people replied to the original email thread. Pls check that too.

    Thanks

    Hi @Deepak7050

Pls share the details of columns in excel sheet or upload the sample excel file. I will give a try and share the flow which you can import in your environment.

    Thanks

    Hi @Deepak7050

Thanks for sharing the excel sheet. It looks like this excel has been used for multiple processes so I have taken only 2 columns (subject & Conversation Id) for a sample flow:

Here is the attached flow which will add a new row if conversation Id is not present in excel sheet. If found, we will update the row in excel sheet. 'Conversation Id' is being taken as row identified or key column in excel sheet.

If this helps & solves your problem, please remember to give a 👍 and accept my solution as it will help others in the future.

    Thanks
