Hey guys,
I want to use mysql connector to connect my local mysql database, but it shows : unable to find a database provider with invariant name 'MySql.Data.MySqlClient'. I had install the mysql connector with link: https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/net/
anyone give me any idea? thanks!
8.0.28 is the right version. After a reboot it started working properly. Thanks!!
You are not using 8.0.28. Can't help you unless you use 8.0.28
I've checked and it's installed.
Nevertheless I'm facing the same issue:
I'm using Azure Logic Apps.
No issues on Azure Data Factory. The connection is established and I can read data without problem, but I need to write on a particular table and only Logic Apps have the right connector
Use RDP to log into the gateway machine, and check if the drivers are installed
@lbendlin what do you mean with "The gateway needs to have the MySQL driver installed"?
How to check the drivers installed in the on-prem data gateway?
You need to use a gateway. The gateway needs to have the MySQL driver installed. My recommendation is to use 8.0.28 - all the newer ones have massive problems.
