Get row

Hi, Guys!

I have been working on a flow and I'm stuck with the get row function. I have been trying to make it to work but it seems that everytime I use a dynamic function as key value, it doesn't work. But when I type the value in the key value in get rows, the flow runs smoothly. Do you know what the problem might be? I tried all value and compose and nothing seems to be working. Your help is very much appreciated :(.

Have you tried to use a initialize variable of type string? And have you added the dynamic content field as a custom value?

Below is an example setup, to demonstrate that this should be possible in the Get a row action.

    1. Workbook (Book15.xlsx) with Table (table1) and Key column (Title)

    2. Flow setup

    3. Test run

Thank you for replying to my query. I tried using an initialised variable and set its type to string. But it seems it is not working. The scenario I have is that the key value changes based on the information provided, so I needed to make it dynamic rather than constant. Let me provide an example :). The info I need to extract is the name of the new hire who completed the course, and I'll use that value to search our database and retrieve his information from a spreadsheet or SharePoint. Every time I put the name into a variable and use that variable to search in our database, it can't find a match. But if I manually type the exact name in the key value, the way I receive it in an email, it works.

    Manual Entry: It works.
If you put it in a variable or use a dynamic value referencing the name, It does not work. :(

hope I was able to provide a good example hehe..

    数据源是否有不可见字符,将变量用正则处理后再试试看。

Not sure if I was able to translate it correctly bu the below is in the english text. :)

I tried trimming, converting to a string, and putting the variable in a compose, but nothing seems to work.
The only workaround is to manually type the name in the comment, set the comment as the value, and put it in a variable; that works. What I don't like is I have to manually do it. Just being lazy, hehe.
