execute a file update action error

When you execute a file update action in PowerAutomate, you encounter the following error:

"The 'inputs' of workflow run trigger 'When a file is created_(properties only)' of type 'OpenApiConnection' should not have the property 'authentication.' "}}". Failed with Code: 0x80060467 InnerError:

However, I checked the properties of the 'When a file is created_(properties only)' trigger and couldn't find any 'authentication' setting.

How can I resolve this error? Please let me know.

Thank your for choosing Power Platform Community.

The error you are seeing happens because the trigger “When a file is created (properties only)” contains a hidden, invalid authentication block in its underlying JSON — even though you can’t see it in the designer. This usually occurs after copying, importing, or migrating a flow.

Simply delete the trigger and add it again from scratch.  This forces Power Automate to regenerate the trigger without the invalid authentication metadata.

If the error persists, try removing and recreating the connector connection

or recreate the flow inside the solution.

Consider exporting the flow and manually remove the authentication block from the JSON.

    Thank you for your reply.
    1. For the update of one file's destination SharePoint, I deleted the "'When a file is created (properties only)' trigger and recreated it from scratch."
    2. Regarding the connector reconnection, my understanding is that if the SharePoint "'When a file is created (properties only)' trigger is recreated (deleted and then recreated), the connector is also set to be reconnected. Is this correct?
    3. I recreated the flow within the solution ('When a file is created (properties only)' trigger flow and file update flow positioned within the same solution).
However, the following error still occurs:
"The 'inputs' of workflow run trigger 'When a file is created (properties only)' of type 'OpenApiConnection' should not have the property 'authentication.' " Failed with Code: 0x80060467 InnerError:
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Possible Solutions:
    1. Trigger Recreation
Delete the existing trigger and add it again from scratch. This forces Power Automate to regenerate the trigger without the invalid authentication metadata.
    2. Reconnect the Connector
If the error persists, try removing and reconnecting the target connector.
    3. Recreate the Flow within the Solution
Creating the flow anew within the solution can also be effective.
    4. Manual JSON Editing (Advanced)
Export the flow and manually remove the authentication block from the JSON.
Is there any other solution? Additionally, if you know of any website that provides specific instructions for the manual JSON editing (advanced) method, could you please share them?
