user with "Power Platform Administrator" role, is not able to assign roles to users

Inside Azure, i granted a user "Power Platform Administror" role, as follow:-

where the user can access the Power Platform admin center, but when the user try to grant a security role for a user inside one of the environments,he can not :-

where using the global admin, there is an option to manage roles to user as follow:-

any advice? why user with "Power Platform Administrator" role, is not able to assign roles to users inside the environment???

I think what you are looking for is the System Administrator role that is assigned in the Power Platform admin center. Assigning a user Power Platform Administrator role in Entra ID will let them assign themselves the System admin role in the Poer Platform admin center, but its not the same as the System Admin role.

@Pstork1 seems a user with "Power Platform Administrator" role can not grant himselve or other users any security role inside the power platform environment, not sure what is the purpose of this admin role??

Short explanation

Power Platform Admin: Manages tenant-wide Power Platform settings (environments, DLP, analytics, capacity) but has limited access to Dataverse data/customizations until elevated.

Dynamics 365 Admin: Manages Dynamics 365 apps (Finance, SCM, Sales, etc.) across the tenant but needs to be a member of an environment's security group to manage it within Power Platform.

System Administrator (Power Platform Role): A Dataverse security role granting full control within a specific environment, distinct from tenant-level roles.
