"Could not retrieve values, graph GPI is unable to open the workbook"

I have a user with an issue where they have tried to automate a step for an Excel (business) doc to list rows present in a table. The Excel file exists within the user's Sharepoint site, which is hosted on 365.

However, when trying to select a table, they're faced with the following:

Is this an issue on Flows' side or local to our site?

Apologies I'm not able to give detailed info, never heard of Flow till a few days ago let alone had time to play with it.

    Hi @dogBotherer ,

I tested List rows present in a table action on my side. There is no issue with this action.

Try using SharePoint library's Owner's account to configure the connection of this action.

Make sure this account have sufficient permissions to access and get the contents of this Excel file.

In addition, please ensure that the Excel file has indeed defined the table. If there is no Table, this action cannot be used.

    Please take a try again.

    Best Regards,

    Hi @v-bacao-msft ,

I am having a similar issue with Updating a row. My flows worked for about 2 months flawlessly and now I recieve the error "Graph API is unable to open the workbook." I have proper permissions and the file has not been changed or moved.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Thank you

Did Microsoft support get back with anything? It's weird that this issue is there since months! It must have something to do with my account since I am unable to open any excel document in my SharePoint. It was all working good but suddenly stopped one day for all my documents!

Also wondering if there was ever an answer for this, as I am now having the same issue with a Flow that has been working properly for months. All of a sudden today I tried to make a copy and it will no longer retrieve tables from the Excel. I am the owner of both the Excel in question, and the SharePoint page it is hosted on, so there should be no issue with permissions.

Getting error Graph API could not open the workbook.
