I am new to Power Automate, so please forgive my ignorance.

I am creating a flow to read in a CSV file and check that all records exist on the Items table, where they don't I want to create a new record

However, I need to set the VAT Prod Posting Group but this field doesn't seem to be available. As it is a standard field I don't understand why I cannot set it?

I have read that I can add this using extensions or custom APIs, but I'm unsure how to progress with this.

Can anyone advise?

@AndrewJN  you can refer to this blog on guidance for creating custom connector https://www.annajhaveri.com/exploring-the-world-of-custom-connectors-in-power-automate-for-business-central

@annajhaveri Thank you for this information. The field is on the page and I can easily create a page-level web service.

Could you please give me a quick bit of guidance on how to create a custom connector?

@AndrewJN  if you have the field available on the page, you can create a page-level web service and then create custom connector in Power Automate to create record using that web service.
